This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and disclose information from Shopify store administrators, merchants, and their customers when using our website, services, and installed applications (collectively, the "Services").
1. Information We Collect
To deliver our agentic commerce suite, we collect the following categories of information depending on your level of integration:
- Merchant Store Information: Store name, registered email address, phone numbers, physical address, and Shopify domain parameters.
- Product Catalog and Feed Data: Inventory listings, product descriptions, images, SKUs, pricing configurations, and metadata specifications. This data is audited to calculate your AI readiness score.
- Transaction and Operations Metadata: Fulfillment speeds, return requests, and customer lifetime value (LTV) records. This is necessary to support autonomous return routing (ReturnArbiter) and dynamic price checks (SmartPricer).
- Device and Network Logs: IP address, browser type, referral URLs, access times, and clickstream metrics to ensure edge security and citation tracking.
2. How We Use Your Data
We process your data strictly under standard SaaS requirements to run, optimize, and secure your automated store workflows:
- To index and translate product detail copy to rank higher in conversational LLM results (e.g. Claude, OpenAI search agents).
- To feed risk analysis models (FraudSentinel) that detect friendly credit fraud and reduce chargebacks.
- To run serverless edge execution (Cloudflare Workers) to deliver sub-millisecond page requests.
- To communicate critical updates, system alerts, or policy updates regarding active applications.
3. Data Security and Isolation
Our infrastructure architecture relies on edge systems with strict data protection guidelines:
- Isolate by Design: Your store information is stored in isolated partitions. We encrypt data feeds during transfer (SSL/TLS) and at rest.
- Model Training Exclusions: Tianyi Software does not train foundation AI models using your shop data. Any catalog information shared with Anthropic APIs or OpenAI APIs is processed under enterprise confidentiality agreements with zero data-retention options.
- Secure Edge Storage: Database transactions are processed in real-time on Cloudflare D1/KV storage solutions at edge nodes closest to you, reducing centralized database exposure risks.
4. Data Sharing and Third-Parties
We do not sell, rent, or distribute merchant data. We only share information with certified service providers necessary to provide the Services:
- Host Infrastructure: Cloudflare edge nodes for globally distributed hosting and computations.
- Reasoning Models: Anthropic API and OpenAI API connections to run language processing, translation, and fraud audits.
- Merchant Channels: Natively syncing with Shopify Metaobjects and Google Merchant center arrays according to your configuration rules.
5. Your Rights and Compliance
We respect GDPR, CCPA, and regional guidelines. Store owners and their customers maintain the following rights:
- Right to Access & Portability: Request details on the exact database schema fields we retain regarding your store.
- Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Uninstalling the application triggers automated removal workflows to purge cached database entries from our edge nodes within 30 days.
- Opt-Out: Adjust settings in your governance panel to switch active tools back from "Full Automation" to "Suggest Only" to stop background computations.
